State v. DD – Habitual Traffic Offender – Felony Driving on Suspended License. 3/17/2016
Client was originally charged as a Habitual Traffic Offender (HTO) under a Felony Driving on a Suspended or Revoked License. The original offer was nearly six months in jail. I got his HTO suspension set aside by getting trial court’s to amend his previous traffic convictions. Thereafter I successful negotiated his felony to a misdemeanor charge of No Valid Driver’s License. His total sentence was an adjudication and court costs without being a Habitual Traffic Offender all while the Defendant was on active probation. 

State v. SN – Aggravated Felony Battery on a Pregnant Woman. 2/22/2016
Client was charged with one count of Aggravated Felony Battery on a Pregnant Woman. Defense team conducted pre-filing investigation and presented favorable evidence to the State. State declined to file all criminal charges. 

State v. JG – Felony leaving the Scene of an Accident with Injury or Death. 1/28/2016
Client was charged with one count of Felony Leaving the Scene of an Accident with Injury or Death and one count of Driving without a License with an initial prison offer of 35 month. After defense presented favorable evidence and conducted depositions, State amended the felony charge to a second degree misdemeanor. Offer amended to 60 days county jail, credit for all time served.

State v. DG – Violation of Domestic Injunction. 1/27/2016
Client was charged with one count of Violation of Domestic Injunction. After defense conducted discovery, including depositions, State dismissed charges.

State v. MS – DUI Reduced to Reckless Driving. 12/10/2015
Client was charged with Driving Under the Influence. Defense investigation revealed favorable facts and mitigation for the Defendant, which led the State to amend the charges to Reckless Driving with reduced sentence.

State v. NF – Case Dismissed. 12/9/2015
Client was charged with Resisting Arrest without Violence. Defense investigation into the facts and circumstances in the case led to a dismissal of all counts all charges. 

State v. MV – 2 Counts Dismissed. 12/8/2015
Client was charged with Leaving the Scene of an Accident with Property Damage/Injury, Misuse of 911, and DUI. Initial offer from State included incarceration. Defense investigation and presentation of evidence led to dismissal of Leaving the Scene and Misuse Charge. Client accepted plea deal to first time DUI sanctions without incarceration. 

State v. JH – Probation Modified. 12/3/2015
Client was charged with Felony Violation of Probation based on his failure to complete Sex Offender Counseling. Case investigation uncovered mitigating evidence for client’s failure. Presentation of that evidence to the state resulted in a Credit for Time Served Offer. Client was facing minimum of 24 months in prison for violation. 

State v. GB – Felony Charges Dismissed. 11/5/2015
Client was charged with Burglary, and Criminal Mischief. Case investigation uncovered multiple witnesses not listed by law enforcement, which provided bases to have felony dismissed. Client was facing prison time. Plead to 6 months of probation and court costs. No Jail or Prison. 

State v. RB – All Charges Dismissed Probation Terminated. 8/18/2015
Client was charged with Felony Violation of Probation (2 cases) based on new law violation. We got the underlying law violation dismissed. We also got the client’s remaining probation terminated early (4 years remaining).

Client was charged with Trafficking in Fraudulent Credit Cards and was facing prison time in the Department of Corrections. Negotiated a Plea offer of a Withhold of Adjudication (no felony conviction) 24 months of probation, 50 community service hours, and court costs.
