Michael Fayard brings a wealth of experience and understanding to his clients. He has developed his practice from successfully handling a wide-range of cases in many different state and federal courts, as well as his successful represention of clients internationally. Mr. Fayard’s international experience includes corporate transactions, and representing clients faced with international criminal charges such as extradition, and fugitive warrants. Additionally, Mr. Fayard has worked for some of the largest Plaintiff firms in the country handling Mass Torts and class action cases.
Mr. Fayard also served as a felony prosecutor in Florida where he sharpened his courtroom skills and abilities. During his time as a prosecutor, Mr. Fayard also handled special assignments, such as organized drug trafficking (“pill mill”) cases, unlicensed contracting while he was assigned to the special prosecution task force, and Baker Act hearings. Throughout his career as a prosecutor, Mr. Fayard handled thousands of cases and gained invaluable experience as a trial lawyer.
In addition Mr. Fayard's jury trial experience as a prosecutor, he has also secured million dollar jury verdicts and settlements in personal injury cases as well has successfully defending his clients in criminal jury trials including homicides, sex offenses, DUIs, driving cases, drug charges, battery, divorce, and domestic violence.
Beyond his courtroom work, Mr. Fayard has personally received Martindale-Hubbell’s esteemed “AV” rating, which recognizes lawyers with the highest ethical standards and professional ability. Based on the recommendations of his peers, Mr. Fayard’s “AV” rating serves a testament to the fact that fellow attorneys consider him at the highest level of professional excellence.
